Apostle Mark Johnson was saved on December of 1983 at Metropolitan Church in Spencer, Oklahoma, under the leadership of Pastor Gerald Cunningham. Apostle Mark soon after answered his call into the ministry and preached his first sermon from the book of Jeremiah.

Pastor Ervin Williams was led by the Lord to start his own ministry, and Apostle Mark was led to join him in that awesome endeavor. Feeding, providing shelter, clothing, and ministering to the homeless seven days a week, it was tremendous and very rewarding.

In 2001 Apostle Mark was led of the Lord to start a ministry called “It’s in the Praise Ministries Inc.” and through trying times and much prayer, was there for a little over a year before he believed the Lord was taking him in a different direction. Fellowshipped with other ministries and assisted other pastors, but all along waiting patiently on God to make that move in starting up again.

In October of 2006, Jesus spoke to Apostle Mark and said its time and the inception of “Souls For Christ Ministries Inc.” In December 2010 married a wonderful woman, Pastor Glenda Gay Johnson. Keep us in your prayers, and may God richly bless you.
